Out with the Old and in with the New. Yes, my windows are 25 years old this November but if you take care of things they last. Except for the large living room window starting to fog and then have condensation in it this past winter, there is nothing else wrong with the unit. There was no time limit for replacing this window and Glass Doctor wasn't pushy either. I called months ago and Jen gave me a quote over the phone. I got a few other quotes and chose Glass Doctor for the price and the warranty on the glass and installation, and the turnaround time. A few more conversations with Jen and Carrie and then Chad came out on Friday to do the measurements. Monday afternoon I had a call that there was a cancelation and I could have my window installed Tuesday afternoon. WOW! Everything fell into place perfectly with my schedule. Scott and Vincent arrived on schedule and were extremely efficient, tidy and friendly. They were hear and gone in a half hour. (I finished my morning coffee hours ago...LOL) They even gave me a few minutes to clean 25 years worth of ick out of the bottom of the inside of my vinyle living room window frame. Just as they finished cleaning the outside of my new window the skies opened up and the rain came pouring down for the 4th time today. The new glass looks great.
