Your car glass will vary between laminated or tempered glass. In order to find out you can look at the bottom corner of your windows. There should be a small sticker that should clarify if your glass is tempered or laminated.

When deciding between repair or replacement the main focus is on the amount of damage. Because car windows are usually made with tempered glass it will shatter into smaller pieces instead of large shards, this makes it safer for passengers, but impossible to repair.

We noticed a crack on our office window and contacted our landlords. They sent Glass Doctor to come fix it. The entire experience was great. The first visit was to get the measurement of the window, and I appreciated the technician (I wish I got his name) giving me a call when he was 15 mins away so I didn't have to just sit and wait around all morning. He was in and out within 10 mins. They then called to schedule for the repair in two weeks (They did assure me the crack wasn't deep and my window wouldn't break in the meantime) The repair guy Jimmy came on a rainy day, and he said he'd try his best to get it done fast so our office wouldn't get wet. He was clearly great at his job and was able to get it done super fast. The window looks perfect, and we are pleased with the excellent service from both of the techs.
