June is National Safety Month

Did you know injuries are a leading cause of disability for people of all ages? Injuries are the leading cause of death for Americans ages 1 to 44.

Here at Glass Doctor® of Raleigh, we offer weekly meetings which include safety tips for driving and injury prevention.

Accidents Don't Just Happen

Accidents on the job don't just happen. They are caused by the actions or inactions of one or more people.

Just as people cause accidents to happen, they can also prevent them. Glass Doctor of Raleigh has installed safe work practices for our employees. We have regular training sessions to inform and remind our employees of ways to keep themselves, co-workers, customers and strangers safe on the road. We also provide personal protective equipment that can help keep them employees safe.

No work practices, rules, training or equipment can prevent an accident from happening; you do that. You have to follow the procedures, report damaged equipment and wear your safety glasses or hard hat. Your safe behavior is your greatest safeguard. When you are tempted to take a shortcut or break the rules, think about the possible accidents that could happen.

At Glass Doctor of Raleigh, we practice safety. Let's all be  aware of National Safety Month and be safe!
