The insulated space is filled with either a specialized desiccant which controls moisture or a warm-edge spacer, but you may also purchase IGU’s that contain either argon or krypton gas in the airspace. The spacing design and construction dictate the level of insulation value, and each unit’s perimeter is sealed using a high-quality material that prevents leakage.
