Methodology

To find the best cities to go caroling, we started with a list of the 100 most populous cities in the U.S. and ranked them 1 to 100 based on factors that would be important to Christmas caroling. We broke those factors down into two categories: logistical and caroling quality. We then assigned weights to each factor depending on how important it would be to Christmas caroling. Based on those weights, each city we analyzed was given a score out of a possible 100.
